Pepper

We traveled to Athens, Alabama to Spintop Kennel to pick out this great girl. Pepper is a product of Hank from Spintop Kennel and Old Hickory Slamming Bobbi. Pepper is great in the field. She has a great nose, with a lot of point and shows a lot of desire for retrieving. Pepper loves the water, working fast and efficiently.

OZ

OZ also comes to us from Spintop Kennel. OZ is a product of Spintop’s Pamper Me Piper and Old Hickory Preserve’s 4X NSTRA Champion Beam Me Up Scotty. OZ’s pedigree also includes his grandfather, 3X NSTRA Champion Crosswind Micro Chip and his great-grandfather, 16X NSTRA Champion Crosswind Truckin’ Fritz. OZ’s dam, Piper also has Crosswind Truckin Fritz in her pedigree. This breeding will make him an integral part of our breeding program.
At an early age, OZ displayed a fearless, adventurous nature. He loves the water. In fact, he has a laid back, easy going nature until it is “Go” time in the field and in the water. Then, he is all in. In his early training and field work, we are seeing his ability to both lead and back other dogs.

Poppy

Poppy comes to us from Round Island Creek Kennel in Athens, Alabama. She is the product of Kopper Tick Rex and Spintop’s Coco Marley. She is an athletic young female with a strong build and a confident demeanor. Poppy is a closer ranging dog that likes to check back to see where you are in the field. She works hard in the field with a laser focused point. She retrieves really well.

Dorothy has one of our strongest pedigrees with NSTRA Champions, 4X Beam Me Up Scotty, 3X Crosswind Micro Chip, and 16X Crosswind Truckin Fritz. She has a great athletic form. She is extremely affectionate and personable. She has a lot of natural retrieving ability. She responds to low pressure and easy, soft, handed training. She is quick to pick up new commands during training sessions. Dotty has great energy in the field with her kennel mates, but she has calm demeanor one-on-one.
